
Greenfly was conceived by two-time Major League Baseball All-Star Shawn Green, who needed to streamline the ongoing requests he received for photos and videos from his storied career. He envisioned a mobile technology that would enable organizations to exchange media quickly and easily and do things like ask for expert opinions and receive multimedia answers instead of text.
Green had a feeling this idea was a home run and asked internet executive Daniel Kirschner to weigh in. Daniel’s expertise as a senior digital media industry executive with Activision-Blizzard and an Internet policy official with the FCC provided the insight and experience needed to prototype the first version. In 2014, Shawn and Daniel co-founded Greenfly, and the platform took flight creating a new way for organizations to easily share media and build their brand through the stories of their advocates.
