Aerial is a privately held company, founded in January 2011 by the management team from Addrenex Pharmaceuticals and Neuronex, two successful startup companies founded in the RTP region of North Carolina. In 2014, Jazz Pharmaceuticals acquired Aerial’s primary compound in clinical development for the treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with narcolepsy.
