We invest up to £200,000 in early stage European technology businesses that have barriers to entry and 'market validation'​ usually by way of initial sales. Domains: We invest in B2B software, B2B services, B2C products and services. Stages: We’re looking for businesses with a market-validated product, where our experience can have a positive impact on the business. We’re an early stage investor, we come in after ‘friends and family’, before Series A We invest from £20k to £200k, though we prefer to start smaller and work up and we are not interested if a lot of capital is required to get to profitability. We only invest in companies wholly or largely based in the UK, and like companies to be EIS eligible Criteria: 1 - TEAM. Teams are more valuable than individuals. We are looking for highly motivated, ambitious teams with technical skills to execute against their vision without relying on external service providers. 2 - PRODUCT. You should have a product built, at least to beta/minimum viable product stage. Boot strap your way there, it is the minimum threshold we expect you to overcome without external funding. 3 - GO TO MARKET. While you may not be sales or marketing whizzes, we expect you to have thought about the WHO, WHAT, WHY, WHERE, etc of your product, its potential customers, and how to reach them.
